Maison des Rochers : Holiday self catering in Saint Guénolé at the tip of south Finister

La Maison des Rochers (guest house) offers to you its self-catering accommodation (gite) and its 'table d’hôtes'.

This apartment [(&/-) 40m ²] is situated in the 1st floor. It offers an independent entrance, one queen size bed, two single-beds, a corner sitting room, a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilets, a fully equipped kitchenette : dishwasher, refrigerator, electric hotplates, oven. . . Dishes and kitchen ware are provided. Linen is also provided.

This traditional 1930 house is located in the village of Saint-Guénolé, a local fishing village, which in the heart of Bigouden region, at the tip of south Finister, is ideally located to travel around Cornwell.
La Maison des Rochers is 80 m away from the rocks site: a view overlooking the whole Audierne bay.

The Bigouden region, a very important place of fishing activity in France, it is a protected nature, an atmosphere of authenticity, with grandiose landscapes where we feel the strength of the open sea.

The southern side of the Bigouden region stretches (from west to east) from Plozévet to Sainte-Marine (in front of Bénodet) by way of, Notre-Dame de Tronoën (and its Calvary: one of the most important of Brittany), the Pointe de la Torche (a spot very appreciated by the surfers), the fishing ports of Saint-Guénolé (Penmarc' h), of Guilvinec, Lesconil and Loctudy, its 'capital' Pont-L'Abbé without forgetting the peninsula of Ile Tudy.

In the West of the Bigouden region, begins the Cap Sizun region where you can, in particular, visit the fishing port of Audierne, the Pointe du Raz, the Pointe du Van or the old town of Pont-Croix (' petite cité de caractère ').
In the North, you can discover Quimper, the fishing port of Douarnenez or Locronan (an other old city).

The table d’hôtes is served every evening if booked in the morning, at the latest. This allows us to cook all our meals from fresh products.

Concerning local fruit and vegetables, we favour organic products. Concerning exotic products such as coffee or rice for instance, we favour fair trade food products.
