Shingle Cottage is a charming self catering holiday cottage which sleeps 4 &2. It is newly refurbished providing modern facilities including 32' LCD freeview television with DVD, to make your stay a comfortable one, but keeping as many of the traditional Norfolk features as possible.

Shingle Cottage is a traditional cottage circa 1830. Stepping into the living room / diner the décor has a fresh nautical theme. 1st floor comprises of two bedrooms, one double and one twin with full-size bunk beds and a shower bathroom on the landing. 3rd floor attic twin room with two full-size single beds. The light and airy living room diner has electric central heating and an electric wood burning stove effect fire. An extending dining table at the diner end of the room.

Through to a small newly built kitchen with dishwasher, fridge electric cooker and microwave. There is a small freezer in the utility cupboard. Just opposite the kitchen door is a new bathroom/ utility in the old flint built outside storeroom.

This is insulated and heated to 2010 standards and comprises a bathroom suite with over bath power shower There is also a washer dryer. The garden is small but perfectly formed! This has a bbq and new 6 seater garden furniture. There is a shingled path from the next door cottage which passes by the kitchen door.

Situated 200yds from the lively Green at the centre of Burnham Market Shingle Cottage provides a cosy retreat. It is on a quiet lane with parking on the road. To the right and across the road is a right of way through EMMA’s YARD bringing you onto The Green beside Grooms baker’s shop.

This easy access to the village centre, with it’s pubs, restaurants and wonderful shopping is so handy for just popping out. For food lovers there is all you could possibly require from a fishmonger /smokery, baker and butchers and delicatessen and the best wine merchant for miles. There’s a pharmacy with original shop fittings, hat shop, plenty of clothes boutiques florist and galleries.

The playing fields are 200 yards from the front door and boast 2 bookable tennis courts and a fantastic children's play area. The playing field is a perfect location for a game of friends or family cricket or football!
