The flat is in a conservation area, and is located behind the Anstruther Fisheries Museum, just off the harbour front. It is 2 minutes walk away from the shops, bars and restaurants, including the award-winning famous Anstruther Fish Bar, and the Cellar Seafood Restaurant.

The Post Office and banks are also only a few minutes walk away.

The East Neuk is made up of several picturesque fishing villages with stunning scenery. There are many golf courses nearby (including Anstruther, Crail, Elie, Kingsbarns and St Andrews) coastal walks and attractions, including Scotland's Secret Bunker, The Anstruther Fisheries Museum, art galleries and trips to the May Island (which sails daily over the summer months).

St Andrews, the home of Golf, and a University town, with its ancient historic background is only a short drive away, and the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow are easily within reach by means of the excellent bus service.
