Self-Catering Accommodation
When you book your holiday at Silver Sands you can be assured of the highest standards combined with a wide choice of accommodation. All our caravan holiday homes are fully serviced and equipped to the high standard demanded by the Scottish Tourist Board and as members we are annually inspected for 'Thistle Commendation'. All caravans are furnished with a high level of inventory including T.V. and bed linen, with full crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils to a generous level.
Many also include microwaves, videos, radio/CD players, patio sets and outside storage units. On your arrival you will find a welcome pack which includes tea, coffee and biscuits so you and your guests can unwind before you unpack. Our caravans all benefit from generous car parking space and are accessed by slabbed paths and steps.
Covesea Holiday Lodge
Set in a secluded part of the park it offers comfortable and spacious accommodation with vaulted ceilings, warm antique pine furniture, and domestic style double glazing and central heating throughout. The kitchen/dinette offers plenty of cupboard space, and includes a fridge freezer, microwave, range style cooker and free standing dining suite. The lounge offers a warm and sociable atmosphere with comfortable sofa and chairs. The bathroom is also spacious, with full size bath and overhead shower. The sleeping arrangements consist of three bedrooms, a large double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, all with fitted wardrobes, overhead cupboards and vanity unit in the double bedroom. To complete this unique holiday home there is a large decking area at the front of the lodge in which to soak up the Morayshire sun or to enjoy dining alfresco.
Excellence Range
This range is undoubtedly the most stylish and well equipped holiday home ever to feature within our range of caravan holiday homes. Its 37 ft length and 12 ft wide, incorporates a huge main bedroom with en suite toilet, twin bedroom, pullout deluxe double bed and large shower and toilet area. The 'U' shaped kitchen area is magnificent with its split oven and hob, microwave and fridge-freezer or large larder fridge. The lounge is tastefully fitted out and has a large TV and DVD mounted on a unit so viewing is easy from the sumptuous seating. The dinette is incorporated into the lounge for a sociable atmosphere. Out with the caravan you will find a large patio area with fixed table and extra patio seating plus an extra large storage unit. Unique amongst most holiday homes, this caravan has full wall, floor and ceiling insulation, domestic double glazing and FULL GAS CENTRAL Heating for even more comfort.
President Range
These extra wide caravan holiday homes are fully equipped to a high standard to give your holiday that extra comfort and space. These caravans are double glazed and have heating in all bedrooms and shower room and are sited on extra spacious pitches with patio areas and stowaway lockers. The two bedroom six berth PRESIDENT 2b enjoys a very large lounge and double bedroom, a twin bedroom and generous toilet and shower room. It has a spacious kitchen with oven and hob, fridge, lots of cupboard space and a top quality inventory which includes: Cordless Kettle, Remote Control TV & Video, Clock radio, Wall Clock, Hairdryer, Microwave Oven, Vacuum Cleaner, Patio Table and chairs.
Envoy Range
Enjoying excellent layouts and quality, these caravans want for nothing for a superb holiday base. The three bedroom ENVOY 3b is exceptionally good value having two twin bedrooms and a large double bedroom (2 berths are available in the lounge). The roomy lounge has ample seating and the kitchen enjoys plenty of worktop and storage space. A large inventory includes Jug Kettle, ample crockery and cutlery, TV and a domestic fridge and heating in the lounge and main bedroom. These units also have outside lockers. The 46 berth ENVOY 2b offers unbeatable value for money, giving one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The bedrooms have panel heaters and power sockets with shaver socket in the main bedroom. The metal-framed beds offer greater comfort and easier storage access. Extra sleeping facilities are provided in the lounge, by the bed settee found in the interior lounge seating. The lounge is integrated with the dining area, with a lounge fire offering warmth to this sociable layout. The kitchen has all the usable refinements including domestic fridge and superior gas oven with automatic hob ignition. The shower room/toilet offers ample space.
Sovereign Range
At Silver Sands we have a special caravan designed for wheelchair users. It has an interior to facilitate maoeuvrability with wide sliding doors providing access to each room. Electrical appliance controls, switches and sockets are placed at heights appropriate for wheelchair users. There is also a ramp for easy access.
