Welcome Cottage
Attractive 2 bedroom fisherman's cottage in the beautiful village of Avoch on the Black Isle, within easy reach of Inverness and the whole of the Highlands & Islands. Comfortable lounge area with exposed stone wall with a wood burning stove, 2 sofa's and chair, roomy and airy with TV and Video, music centre and games, very tastefully decorated. Fully central heating throughout, wood provided free of charge as is all the heating and lighting. Fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, and microwave, very attractive layout. A dining area that seats 4.
The bathroom has an electric power shower over the bath and again is tastefully decorated.
The 2 bedrooms are both of a good size, one is a double and the other a twin.
Towels and bedding are provided, all of the highest quality for your comfort, it is our intention that your stay at the cottage will be one to remember. We also provide a sewing box for your convenience.
If you experience any problems a telephone number is provided where help will be at hand. You will also be provided with a 'Welcome sheet' which gives you information about the workings of the cottage, along with leaflets which we hope will help you enjoy the area.
A wee walk of 200 yards from the front door will take you to the Moray Firth where you can enjoy the nature. From the harbour you can take a boat trip to see the dolphins or drive to the nearby village of Fortrose and see dolphins at Chanonry Point. The beach at Rosemarkie is a must for a walk.
The whole of the black Isle is a delight with many walks be that in woodlands or by the sea. The City of Inverness offers lots of restaurants and shops.
The cottage is ideally placed to visit the whole of the Highlands, West Coast and the Islands of Skye and Orkney.
Many outdoor attractions as well as indoors. Ideal for couples or families.
We regret we do not except pets and would ask smokers not to smoke within the house.
We have no garden area which is the normal for fisherman's cottages, there is however a wee yard to the rear of the property.
