Mas pilet du Grès is a charming and romantic Stone Mas (farmhouse) situated outside the lovely town of Beaucaire.
Beaucaire is on the border of Southern France's most beautiful and exciting regions of Languedoc and Provence and is easily accessed by Motorway and local Airports. Nimes Airport 20 minutes away.

The house has been lovingly restored to a very high standard, retaining all its original features and character.
It has 5 large luxury double bedrooms; 3 with individually designed period en-suite bathrooms; an additional family bathroom and a separate shower room.
Mas Pilet du Grès has high beamed ceilings and a large fireplace in the drawing room with ample seating.

Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, the house enjoys lovely views over the beautiful countryside. It has a large secluded swimming pool next to the house in a quiet, stone walled garden.

The delightful, shaded courtyard is paved and enclosed by old stone walls and offers excellent areas for alfresco eating. There is also a sunny garden and orchard. Approx 2 acres in total.

Mas Pilet du Grès is found on the border of Provence and Languedoc (the 'alternative' South of France), situated north of the Camargue and 25 minutes from the historic town of Avignon. The region is steeped in history. It is renowned for excellent sandy beaches, most sloping gently into the water and so ideal for families. The coastline is studded with marina resorts and old picturesque ports, with its maze of canals and rivers.
Although there is a wealth of tourist facilities, the region remains far less crowded than the Côte d’Azur.
Beaucaire 4 kms.
New Shopping centre (including large Carrefour) 2 kms.
Famous beaches of St. Maries-de-la-Mer only 40 mins.

The house is accessed through impressive wooden double gates into a large secluded stone walled courtyard.

All rooms on the Ground floor are stone flagged. Total of 500 square metre living accommodation.
There is a No Smoking policy in the house.
Bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided.
Kitchen – fully equipped kitchen made up of two rooms both sympathetically restored to a very high standard with all modern amenities. Large fridge/freezer, separate drinks fridge, Large Smeg range, Miele Dishwasher, Microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker. The larger of the two rooms contains an old refectory table seating 10 people easily. Plenty of storage space and working surfaces.
Utility Room – Miele Washing Machine. Tumble Drier. Separate Toilet and Shower room off. From this room a further bedroom can be accessed by a ladder……
Ladder Room – Single Room, only suitable for teenagers.
Dining Room – Feature stone room with original ancient feeding trough. large mahogany dining table (seats 12). Contemporary chairs. Access to courtyard.
Study – situated off the dining room containing English/ French TV (Sky) and integrated DVD. Computer and printer. (It is possible to put an additional bed in this room).
Drawing Room – Large sitting room, furnished to a high standard. French windows leading to courtyard. High beamed ceiling and open fireplace add to the original character of the room.

Accessed by old stone stairway.

Bedroom 2 (Green Room) – Large room, high beamed ceilings, 5’ bed, period furniture. Fabulous bathroom (including separate shower) exclusively designed for this unique property.
Bedroom 3 (Four Poster room) – Wooden four-poster double bed with red drapes. Antique furniture.
Bedroom 4 (Blue Room) - Two French Beds; one 4’ and one 3’ wide. French furniture. Ideal children’s room. Plenty of space for baby’s cot.
Bedroom 5 (Red Room) – Newly refurbished to very high standard. Large room with French windows overlooking walled swimming pool area. Separate access to courtyard via original external stone staircase. Truly magnificent designer bathroom; large Victorian bath, marble walls and sink area, and separate wet room with toilet.
Bathroom – separate family bathroom for Bedrooms 3 and 4.
Shaded, walled courtyard, featuring a stone fountain and stone water trough with original pump. Picturesque dovecote. Garden furniture (new in 2007)and Barbeque.
