The golfer will find an unbeatable combination of breathtaking natural scenery and thrilling courses within a half-hour drive most notably Ballybunion Links Course, Killarney and the first European golf course designed by Arnold Palmer located at Barrow.
The ring of Kerry is dotted with glorious beaches and coves. With such a long coastline sea and shore fishing is widely available as is excellent game angling. A new 100-berth marina facility has been developed at Fenit, just 8 miles from Tralee is very popular as a stop for touring the west coast of Ireland.
For those who are interested in history and archaeology there are many outstanding items of interest to be seen including Kerry's famous 'Crag caves' which are thought to be over a million years old, formed of limestone. It is a colourful wonderland of stalagmites and stalagtites plus Killarney house and gardens dating back to the 18th Century.
