Clavie cottage has been renovated with families in mind. We can provide a travel cot with bedding and high chair at no extra charge. For stress free family mealtimes there are plastic tumblers & plates and to ease the burden of grocery shopping both Tesco & Asda will deliver to the door. Just place your order before you leave home.

Clavie cottage has a DVD player, so feel free to let your children bring their own favourite DVDs on holiday with them. We also have a selection of childrens books and games to help keep them entertained.

Burghead and area have loads to keep the family entertained whatever the weather. The glorious sandy beaches at Burghead and along the coast at Roseile & Findhorn will keep kids of all ages happy for hours.

For the more energetic there are forest trails and castles to explore. Elgin has a great leisure centre with a swimming pool, ice rink and soft play area.

Within an hours drive you can visit the Highland Wildlife park or Landmark forest park.

Burghead with its stunning coastal setting is on your doorstep but within an hours drive you can explore Invernes & Loch Ness, the Cairngorm national park, castles, whisky distilleries and countless golf courses!

You needn't even use your car as within 2 minutes of the front door you can explore Burgheads beach, harbour, ancient well and admire the views over the Moray Firth from the Burghead visitor centre - don't forget your binoculars for a bit of dolphin spotting. Relax and have lunch in one of Burgheads 3 pubs/hotels or simply watch the world go on the sea front in this wonderfully peaceful setting.

Burghead has a corner shop, pharmacy & library with free internet access, but for those looking for some more retail therapy the nearby towns of Elgin & Forres provide great shopping & eating opportunities.
