There is so much to do around Burnham Market if you don’t want the beach or walks. There is a folder with information about local attractions, events and places of interest, as well as walking maps and binoculars.

Burnham Market is a thriving village set around a green with an excellent selection of shops and services including doctor’s surgery, butcher, baker, grocery, delicatessen, hardware, pub, tea shops and numerous gift shops. It is about a mile inland from the coast and the nearby sailing centres of Burnham Overy Staithe and Brancaster Staithe. Holkham beach is 3 miles away.

There is parking on the road in front of the house. Distances by car: Holkham Hall and beach: 10 min, Norwich: 1h 15min, Cambridge: 1h 45min, London: 3h, Birmingham: 3h 15min. The nearest train stations are King's Lynn and Norwich. Norfolk Green Coasthopper bus service starting from King’s Lynn or Sheringham.
