The cottage has three first floor bedrooms (double, twin, single) sleeping up to five and an upstairs bathroom (with shower). Downstairs there is a large fully equipped kitchen / diner, small back family room, front lounge with TV/DVD player, small side porch area and cloakroom.
We welcome Children and Dogs to the cottage.

Bruntingthorpe village is full of character and charm. There are several walks/footpaths from the village and the surrounding countryside is picturesque.
There are many local pubs and restaurants in the area.
The village is ideally placed for many of the major motorways.
Bruntingthorpe Vintage Aircraft Museum is a short distance away so are local fishing spots like Peatling Pool at Peatling Parva.
If you have a bicycle the surrounding open countryside is ideal for cycling expeditions.
Nearby is Wistow Maize Maze open in the summer months, and Enderby Leisure Centre (2 swimming pools -25m main pool and teaching pool) and Wigston pool (33.3m).
Foxton Locks is unique in that it has a staircase of ten working locks and the remains of the Inclined Plane/ boat lift. It’s the ideal place to picnic, stroll by the towpath of The Grand Union Canal or take a boat ride.
Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park.
Re live a turning point in history, the death of a king and start of Tudor Dynasty. Follow the Battlefield Trail.
Visit the ruined castles at Ashby de la Zouch (with a tower to climb and an underground tunnel) and Kirby Muxloe (to see the picturesque moat remains). Belvoir, Warwick and Rockingham castles are also well worth visiting.
Bradgate Park – over 800 acres of ancient rocks, forest and bracken. Stroll by the river at the bottom of the park with the lopped Oak trees marking the beheading of Lady Jane Grey, walk to the ruined house where she was born and beheaded and then climb to the Old John Tower. An ideal place to picnic and explore.
Snibston Discovery Park set on the site of a former colliery. There’s an excellent interactive museum combining technology and design from the past to the present day. Also a one hundred acre country park and nature reserve.
In the same area is Conkers with interactive exhibits indoors and outdoors an assault course (aged 13&) to tackle.
Plus Shakerstone Train Station.
A fascinating day out is a ride on a steam train. The Great Central Railway, Britain's only double track main line steam railway runs from Leicester to Loughborough and back again.
Leicester’s National Space Centre is the country’s largest attraction dedicated to space - journey through 6 stunning galleries, see the Rocket Tower, enjoy the 3D S.I.M ride and 360 degree space theatre.
Leicestershire is central for five of the major racetracks in the country – Donington Park, Mallory Park, Silverstone, Rockingham Race Circuit and Santa Pod Raceway.
