Kerrera Cottage is a '4 star' Visit Scotland self catering cottage,20 minutes from St. Andrews and is within 30 minutes by car from Edinburgh, Dundee and Stirling. Ideal for day trips to numerous heritage sites such a Scone Palace, Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle. It is ten minutes from the East Neuk of Fife renowned for its quaint fishing villages such as Anstruther, Clail, Pittenweem and Elie.

It is ideal for families with young children who need safe play space, who like to walk to shops, go for a meal, get to a bank, liquor store or just want to wander through a small Scottish town. As well, there are endless opportunities for longer walks along the beach and along the famous Fife Coastal Path, which passes close to the cottage.
It is also the ideal base for golfers as there are some thirty local courses within thirty minutes drive, most of which are open year round. It is an excellent choice for any small group of golfers or golfing couples looking for a week's accommodation.

By air fly into Edinburgh or Glasgow from London or from North America9Dilay flights to London and weekly charters to Edinburgh and Glasgow)then by car follow the major highways to the Forth Road Bridge and then follow the signs for Kirkcaldy and then Leven. Bus transportation is available every half hour from Edinburgh Airport to Leven (within walking distance to the cottage)
