Charming Self Catering Accommodation in the Heart of West Wales

Recently renovated (Spring 2009), the tastefully decorated cottage provides a wealth of original features with a cosy inglenook fireplace and woodburner, beamed ceilings and original windows while modern furnishings complement the traditional feel and add luxury and comfort to your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, kettle and toaster. The bathroom has a WC, wash hand basin and bath with shower above.

On the ground floor there is a double bedroom, with another double bedroom on the first floor and bunk beds in the third bedroom. Externally there is a lockable store shed with a freezer, tumble dryer, further fridge and ample space for bicycles, golf clubs and wellies etc. To the rear of the cottage there is a fenced, lawned garden with space for outdoor games and a purpose built barbeque area.

Games, puzzles, an X-Box, flat screen TV, CD player, iron and ironing board, pay phone, charcoal barbeque and beach towels are all provided for your convenience. Bedlinen, towels, heating, electricity, a starter bundle of logs and a welcome pack are included in the price. The cottage will be fully prepared for your arrival with freshly made up beds. Off road, gravelled parking is located to the front of the property with space for 3 cars.

There is a wealth of tourist attractions in the vicinity, catering for all tastes. These include the popular theme park Oakwood, paint balling, golf, fishing, horse riding, go-carting, canoeing, The Welsh Woollen Museum, Cilgerran Wildlife Park, Cenarth Falls and many more. A network of pretty footpaths and bridleways are on the doorstep of the cottage.

There are many varied restaurant and eateries in the surrounding area. At the local pub, The Nags Head, you can guarantee a good traditional meal with ales brewed on site. Situated in the Pembrokeshire National Park, “Tafarn Sinc” is also worth a visit.

A maroon painted iron building, although not exactly elegant, inside is really interesting, almost a museum of local history, with hams hanging from the ceiling, sawdust on the floor and a friendly feel. There is also a super family run, Italian Restaurant approximately 25 minutes car drive away offering authentic homemade Italian dishes, made with fresh Welsh produce. Or you might simply prefer to relax in peace and escape from modern life in the cottage’s enclosed garden.

A well behaved dog is welcome at an additional £20 per week.

We will try and cater for any special occasions – birthdays, honeymoons, wedding proposals, romantic weekends etc. Please enquire and we will gladly try and accommodate your every need.

Guests can arrive anytime after 4pm and are asked to vacate the property by 10am.
