This charming barn conversion sleeps up to four people and is situated in the courtyard of Ovington House Ovington, nr Prudhoe, Northumberland close to Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham and Hadrian's Wall.

Ovington is a small village between the A69 Newcastle-Carlisle road and the River Tyne bridge joining Ovingham and Prudhoe. A great location with Newcastle International Airport only 15 miles away and the A1 only 12 miles away.

The Barn has an open plan lounge, kitchen & dining room. Downstairs there is a cloaks and utility room. The Lounge has electric fire, flat screen TV and CD & DVD players. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer, washing machine & drier, electric hob and oven, microwave and toaster. Full range of crockery & cutlery

Upstairs two en suite bedrooms, one double room with views across the Tyne valley and the twin room/triple room has views into the courtyard. Both have a spacious shower with body jets. These rooms are light and airy with exposed beamed ceilings.

The accommodation has been furnished in a contemporary style, whilst retaining its charm and character to provide a beautiful, comfortable holiday home at any time of year.

A private seating area to the rear of the property gives views across the apple orchard and beyond the Tyne Valley. Private parking for two cars is available.

Time stands still at here at Old Saint's Barn at Ovington House, there’s no hurry! There’s plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings; retire to the apple orchard on a sunny day and take in the views of the surrounding countryside or wander through the many local walks in the fresh Northumbrian air.

With many of the region’s attractions; Hadrian’s Wall, Hexham and Newcastle within easy reach, Old Saint's Barn is the perfect location for an extended break. We have excellent shopping at the Metro Centre only fifteen minutes away and Newcastle, Alnwick and Durham offer plenty to see and do during your stay. Whether you’re sight seeing, playing golf or fishing, we have something to offer everyone here on our doorstep.

When dining out, you have lots of choice in local towns and villages, in Ovington itself Winships Restaurant/Bar is within a short walking distance and offers a varied menu.

Getting out and about is easy, with road, rail and bus links the only trouble you’ll have will be deciding where to go.

Being close to Hadrian’s Wall and the Coast to Coast cycle route, we’re delighted when cyclists and walkers stay. We offer a good night’s rest and secure storage for equipment.
