The intimate living areas are perfect for mingling over drinks whilst the stunning Orangery with dramatic views to the lake is ideal for private dining or an elegant cocktail party. The house opens out on to a beautiful Terrace and extensive grounds and larger numbers are invited to use the magnificent Manor Marquee.

The grounds comprise, large terrace with BBQ, ornamental koi pond and mature gardens. Hidden amongst the gardens you will find a sheltered hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long exciting day.

Surlingham Manor is also well connected for travel, being just 5 miles from the centre of Norwich and 7 miles from Norwich Airport. The XX with access to Cambridge and London is also close by and ample parking is provided in the grounds.

The peaceful countryside and woodland setting also lends itself particularly well to group organised events. In the past, Surlingham Manor has hosted a variety of special group events, including yoga and meditation weekends, spa breaks, ladies days, painting breaks, cyclists, walkers, food & wine master classes, fishing breaks and painting holiday.

The house lends itself ideally to business and private events or holidays, and the peace, tranquillity and natural beauty of the space also appeals to individuals organising special group holidays, such as painting, cooking, fishing, spa retreats and yoga.

You can choose to hole up and hide away or take advantage of our special events organiser who will manage anything from a private dinner with butler service to a more elaborate corporate soiree.
