Podere La Casa Airone farmahouse featuring comfort and privacy
The house is completely surrounded by nature and sits within a working 200 acre organic farm. Easily accessible from the main railroad line (Rome-Orvieto, 20 km) is strategically located for those looking to visit the majority of the most important Central Italian art cities, such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Viterbo and Rome as well as the Tirrenian Sea beach resorts, the beautiful Lake of Bolsena (7km) and the nearby regions of Tuscany and Umbria.
The owners, Anna and Carlo live on the ground floor of the farmhouse. Anna, a painter who graduated at the Beaux Art of Paris, speaks fluently French, English and Spanish, and offers drawing and painting lessons.
Accommodation Description
Airone is composed of 2 large double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, 1 large twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 large kitchen-dining room with fireplace, 1 living room with TV and library, plus 1 large independent double bedroom featuring its own bathroom and an independent entrance.
The rooms are all very spacious (25/ 30 m²). The ceilings feature wooden beams, the floors are in “cotto toscano” and all the windows face the countryside. The apartment is fully furnished and offers many other comforts such as linen and towels. Italian coffee and tea are complementary.
The house is surrounded by a 1 hectare garden, the swimming pool area (at the Airone’s guests only disposal) has BBQ, dressing room, loggia, garden furniture, summer kitchen and bocce set.
For an extra €7 per person, a generous continental breakfast is served every morning by the pool. This includes bread, cereals, butter, jams, croissants, fruit juice, coffee, milk and teas.
Please note air conditioning and toiletries are not available.
Domestic cleaning is only available weekly for long staying guests.
