A delightful stone building newly converted. All mod cons including fridge/freezer washer/dryer and full modern kitchen.

Double and single wardrobe and plenty of drawer space in the main bedroom with a 5 foot double bed and en suite shower room.

Second bedroom with two 3 foot single beds and wardrobe.
Served by the family bathroom across the landing.

Downstairs is a cloakroom, utility room kitchen/lounge and dining in the conservatory.
Also available are a trouser press and hostess trolley!

The river Tweed flows through St Boswells and is a good flyfishing venue. Golf being the national game of Scotland is well catered for. The cottage is only a short distance from Kelso and Jedburgh both of which together with Melrose and Drybrugh are sites of the remains of interesting Abbeys.

Kelso is also the home of a Natinal Hunt Race Course and Melrose hosts the famous Rugby Club which invented the game of Rugby Sevens. In addition most of the other local towns support rugby clubs.

Berwick-upon-Tweed is only about thirty miles away and has many sites of interest as has the surrounding district, including Coldstream, the original home of the famous Guards Regiment of that name and has the regimental museum. Other places of interest are Floors Castle at Kelso, home of the Duke of Roxburghe. Also at Kelso is the Border Union Show Ground, which as well as the famous agricultural show, hosts an important dog show and other events.

Nearby is Abbotsford House home of Sir Walter Scott, Thirslane Castle and its horse jumping event and the nearby town of Selkirk houses an interesting museum and Sir Walter Scotts' Courthouse!

Edinburgh is about one hours drive north and has an excellent park and ride scheme, which we would recommend. Edinburgh now includes the town of Leith where the former Royal Yacht 'BRITTANIA' is moored.
