Heritage Mews 5 star self catering in Stratford upon Avon

Heritage Mews is a beautifully appointed self catering cottage in a peaceful location in Stratford-upon-Avon's Old Town. The historic town centre, Shakespeare Houses, theatres and many excellent restaurants, pubs, bistros and shops are a short stroll away. The cottage is in sight of nearby Holy Trinity Church, 250 yards from the River Avon, with delightful riverside walks into town and out into open countryside.

Awarded a five star rating by Visit Britain, Heritage Mews has also achieved the prestigious Enjoy England Gold award for 'exceptional quality of accommodation and customer service'. The cottage has two bedrooms (sleeping three), a beautiful, secluded patio garden, free WiFi internet access and the added benefit of private off-road parking for two cars.

Heritage Mews is personally managed by us, the owners, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. Guests will find a welcome tray and fresh flowers on their arrival.

Sitting-dining room
Downstairs, the comfortably furnished sitting/dining room opens onto the garden. There is a Sony Bravia LCD digital television, DVD recorder, VCR and micro music system. Comprehensive information on local tourist attractions and a diary of local events are provided for your stay.

Kitchen
The immaculate kitchen, with Amtico flooring, is well equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas hob, electric multi-function oven, microwave and fridge-freezer. There is a full range of dinner and tea services, glassware, cutlery, cookware, toaster, electric kettle, cafetiere, and digital radio. An iron and ironing board are provided.

Bedrooms
Upstairs are two elegant bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size five foot bed. A spacious fitted wardrobe, bedside chests and dressing table provide ample storage space. The single bedroom is attractively furnished with a three foot bed, bedside table, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both beds have very comfortable pocket-sprung mattresses, quality duvets, pillows, throws and crisply laundered bed linen. There is a radio alarm clock in the master bedroom and hair dryers in both rooms.

Bathroom
The pristine white bathroom has a quality Carronite bath with thermostatically controlled shower over, toilet, washbasin, shaver point and plenty of shelving and mirrors.

Fully controllable gas central heating, double glazing and luxurious fitted carpets ensure guests' comfort at all times of the year.

Patio garden
The sitting-dining room opens onto a sunny, secluded patio garden with solar lights and furnished with table and chairs - perfect for summer outdoor dining. Planted for all year round colour and interest it is a delight to look out onto in all seasons.

Wi-Fi
A wireless broadband internet connection is available for guests to use free of charge, This is password protected (with WPA encryption) for security. Network cables and a wireless laptop card are also provided should you need them.

Private parking
Private off-road parking for two cars provides a real benefit in Stratford, where on street parking is restricted and at a premium. Enjoy the convenience of parking your car (or cars) safely within the private mews and explore this beautiful historic town on foot.

Cot & baby equipment
A solid beechwood 'Mamas & Papas' cot and full cot linen (quality cotton sheets and blankets) can be added to the single bedroom on request - at an additional charge of £25 per week or short break. Other baby equipment (stairgate, highchair / booster seat, bathtub etc) is available on request; there is no additional charge for these.

Weekly holiday lets
Heritage Mews is available for weekly holiday rental throughout the year, from 3pm Saturday to 10am Saturday. Guests are welcomed personally by the owners - we will be there to hand over the keys to you and answer any questions you may have. If your travel plans mean you will be arriving very late in the evening, arrangements can be made to provide you with a key to let yourselves in.

Weekly rates are from £355 to £625 per week depending on season. Rates include central heating, gas, electricity, WiFi internet access, bed linen and towels.

Short breaks
Stratford-upon-Avon is an ideal destination for out of season short breaks. We offer short breaks from November to March (excluding Christmas and New Year). You can stay two nights or longer - weekend or mid-week. Arrival day and length of stay are flexible, depending on availability. 'Last minute' short breaks may also be available at other times of year - please enquire.

Heritage Mews is available to non-smokers only. We regret, pets are not allowed.
