Private holiday resort in Tuscany close by the Mediterranean Sea

You'll find our private holiday home in Greppolungo (=long mountain ridge), a small village on 350 m altitude above sea level in the Apuan Alps, overlooking the old city of nearby Camaiore (Latin: campus major). From Greppolungo with its narrow alleys, which cannot be passed by a car you have a breathtaking view at the surrounding mountains, down onto Camaiore and on the close by Mediterranean Sea, that is just 15 minutes away by car.

The house itself is about 250 years old and the interior has been renovated and modernized completely over the last years.

Kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms (4 sleeps), fully equipped and decorated with consideration (Tuscan style).

E.g.: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fireplace, central heating, Sat-TV (with English channels) etc.

2 terraces with garden furniture and grill, a large (1000 sq m) garden with olive trees, figs, palm trees lemons, oranges and other Mediterranean trees and plants. One terrace faces to the east to have breakfast in the early sun. The 2 terrace faces southwest with view over the sea, but there are also enough shadowy spots. Car park on the ground.
Greppolungo is a fine starting point for both, activities at the sea, but also for trekking and hiking in the surrounding mountains that reach more up to 1400 m.

Nearby Viareggio is famous for its shipyards, Carrara with its marble caves can be reached in a few minutes and Pisa with the leaning tower and its international airport is only 30 km away. It takes about an hour to get to Florence with all its art.
