The Herb Garden....A Little Piece of Paradise in Argyll...

The Herb Garden is set in the hamlet of Lochgair and is just 100m from the shore of the sea-loch. With Lochgilphead just 7 miles south, Inveraray 17 miles north and Glasgow about 80 miles away, it offers a great location for holiday activities. The area offers much in the way of outdoor pursuits, including cycling routes, walks and challenging hill climbs. Sea, river and loch fishing is also available close by.

Lochgair is an excellent position for boating and yachting, with access to Loch Fyne, on to the Clyde, as well as giving access to the Crinan Canal. A mooring is available for boats up to 25 feet.

Accommodation: To sleep 6 -8
Hall, large drawing/dining room. Sitting room with open fireplace, kitchen, family bedroom with 2 single beds, double futon and en-suite shower room, two further double bedrooms and newly refurbished family bathroom.

Outside is set to herbs and salad beds, with a burn running through the grounds and plenty of places to sit, barbecue and relax. Ample parking space within the grounds.

The shore and numerous forest and loch walks are a moment away.Electric heating, 100% double glazing and hot water fed from the back boiler and immersion heater.

Fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble drier, enclosed storage for outdoor gear, broadband/WiFi/ internet access, dvd player, radio/tape player and televisions. Cot and high chair available. Selection of books and games.
Local hotel with bar within a couple of minutes walk.
