Welcome to Les Cygnes - three luxury gites in the heart of the Poitou-Charentes region of France.

Our gites are situated in the heart of Poitou-Charentes on the west coast of France, in easy travelling distance from Limoges, Poitiers and La Rochelle. This picturesque region averages 2,250 hours of sunshine per year, making it the second sunniest region in France and, therefore, ideal for visiting from early spring to late autumn, click here to read all about the climate month by month. We also have availability during the winter months - perfect for house hunters.

The gites sleep 6 - 8 - 10 as individual self catering holiday homes or up to 24 people for the larger group or family. Perfect for family reunions, parties, wedding accommodation, or groups of friends and family.

Les Cygnes is also a perfect place to bring the children for a safe and entertaining holiday away from the madding crowds.

Les Cygnes has 3 lovely gites sleeping 6 - 8 - 10 and up to 24 in total.

Le Tilleul is a stylishly converted pigsty, with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8) with a lovely mezzanine. Equipped with a large woodburner and heated bedrooms it is also perfect for renting in the winter months

Le Poirier and La Vigne are architect designed conversions of a 200 year old barn. Le Poirier sleeping 10, has 4 bedrooms (one en-suite) and La Vigne has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6 with large sofa bed in the living room. Both have large sunken terraces with beautiful views overlooking the countryside and the village, including the Logis (a small 15th century castle).

All gites have access to a large games room equipped with a full size table tennis table, dartboard, table football, pool table and a number of board games.

If you have a party of over 10 we can combine gites to accommodate you.

It is common practice with gite accommodation to bring your own bedlinen and towels. However, should you wish us to provide these for you, they are available at the following rates:

Fresh bed linen:
Available at 10 euros per single set, per week and
20 euros per double set, per week

Bath and hand towels:
Available upon request at 10 euros per set, per week

Also available:
Washing machine
Highchairs and cots (please provide your own linen)
Child stair barriers.
