Larachbeag
Kate and Douglas Harrison welcome you to Larachbeag, be it for a week or a weekend.
The house is cleaned and serviced by the owners, who also make every effort to be present to see you in on your arrival.
Tea, coffee, decaff, sugar, milk and shortbread await you to help you relax after your journey.
Inside:
The spacious living room has a sofa-bed, which folds open to sleep 2, armchair, dining table and chairs and a cabinet stocked with dishes.
The open fire welcomes you in winter and spring. Coal, peat and logs are available locally. There is always enough coal in the fireside box to stoke the fire a few times after you arrive.
There is a TV, DVD player and hi-fi, and on the shelf is a small selection of CDs and books to suit a variety of musical tastes and reading preferences.
The pleasantly-lit bedroom has a comfortable double bed with electric blanket, a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The adjacent bathroom has a WC, basin, shower over the bath, heated towel rail and dual voltage shaver point.
The kitchen, although small, is equipped with a 4-ring electric cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and a good range of pots, pans, utensils and cutlery.
Water is heated by electric immerser.
Electric heaters, with timers, warm the house.
Electricity is charged by a £1 coin meter.
For your safety, there are two smoke alarms, two fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
All linen - bath, hand and dish towels, and duvet, cover, pillows and cases - are provided. If a two-week stay is booked, a changeover set of linen is left for you.
Additional bedding for use with the settee, plus towels, can be provided at an extra charge.
Pets are welcome at the discretion of the owners.
Please note that for the comfort of following guests, Larachbeag is strictly for non-smokers.
