Welcome to Goodwood B&B Cottage (4.5 stars) - a fully self-contained one bedroom cottage, with a queen-size and a single bed. Essentially for 2 adults, an extra adult &/or child can be accommodated by arrangement. A cot and high chair are available.

The tariff includes champagne & chocolates, tea/coffee etc and provisions for cooked breakfasts for short stays (1 - 5 days). Arrangements for longer stays can be negotiated. All linen and towels are included and a mid-week service is provided for bookings 7or more nights.

Enjoy the 2-person spa, wood-fire (firewood included), reverse-cycle air conditioning, TV, DVD, CD/radio and BBQ. An iron and ironing board are provided and full laundry facilities are available by arrangement. - fees apply. There is a Laundromat nearby. Phone, fax and Internet services are also available by arrangement - fees apply also.

The cottage has its own veranda and under-cover parking. Guests have access to a lovely garden and lawns, and a solar-heated swimming pool in summer. Pets may be accommodated by prior arrangement only.

The cottage is located within 3/4 acre of shady gardens alongside 'Goodwood', an original orchard farmhouse (circa 1894). Montrose is in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges and a few minutes drive from the Yarra Valley. It is a 50 minute drive from Melbourne CBD and Airport.

There is plenty to do and see in the area. Wineries, wine tours, parks and gardens, National Rhododendron Gardens, Cloudehill, golf, bush walking, scenic drives, Puffing Billy Steam Train, Healesville Sanctuary, Willaim Ricketts Sanctuary, SkyHigh Mt Dandenong, Buuinja Arts & Cultural Gallery, farmer's markets, restaurants, cafes, The Cuckoo Restaurant, wedding reception venues, churches, boutique shops, and hot air ballooning. A great area to visit to relax and unwind, have a romantic getaway or bring the family!
