Kaprunblick, Luxury 8 Bed Self Catered Apartment, Zell am See Kaprun Austria

The apartment is situated on the sunny southern slope of Fürth, a small village situated between the picturesque Austrian towns of Zell am See and Kaprun and just a couple of minutes away from pristine skiing territory on the free ski bus.

The self-catering apartment comprises of two good-sized twin bedrooms, one small internal room with a bunk bed, a large lounge with a traditional Austrian wood-burning stove and fantastic views of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and Kaprun. The lounge leads onto a 10sqm south-facing heated balcony (with fantastic views of Austria's highest peak Grossglockner) and has a large corner sofa which turns into a large double bed. There is also a large, open plan kitchen and dining room with a table with seating for eight people. Furthermore there is a bathroom and separate WC and shower room. The total size of the aprtment is approximately 90sqm.

Kaprunblick apartment includes all the modern facilities needed for a relaxing stay with friends or family. The price includes all bed linen, towels and cutlery as well as laundry facilities (separate washing machine and dishwasher) and fully-fitted kitchen including dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge-freezer.

The hotel Select next door has a relaxed atmosphere and good traditional Austrian restaurant. Kaprunblick chalet guests can pay to use the hotel's facilities, which include a swimming pool and sauna. There are also several bars, hotels and restaurants nearby, although it's best to travel into Zell am See or Kaprun for the best apres ski and nightlife.

The nearest supermarket (Spar) is less than a kilometre away on the road towards Kaprun.

There are many outdoor sport and hire shops throughout Kaprun and Zell am See. Skiers can hire skis, snowboards and boots, and buy ski passes at the bottom of all the ski lifts (Areitbahn Schmittenhöhe, Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel), all easily accessible via the free ski bus. In the summer the Zell am See Kaprun golf club offers 36 (2x18) holes. The Zell am See Kaprun golf club is about a kilometre away on the road towards Zell am See. Winter ski slopes and the all-year round ski-able glacier of the Kitzsteinhorn, hiking trails, mountain bike trails and cycle routes are all nearby as well as Zell am See (Lake Zell) and the local airport which offers extreme wind sports including gliding, windsurfing and sailing.
