322 North Boisdale

322 North Boisdale is a newly refurbished cottage on the idyllic west coast of South Uist. It is situated within 5 minutes walk of the beautiful sandy beaches which stretch for miles, and the beautiful island of Orasay where you can spend a couple of hours walking and exploring.

There are a number of local activities available within a short drive including golf at the world renowned old Tom Morris course at Askernish; plentiful fishing lochs; hill climbing on the east coast of the island and also bird watching.

The nearest pub Polochar Inn, is only five minutes drive away, or about half an hour's walk along the beach - perfect for taking in the fresh sea air.

Also within a ten minute drive is the local supermarket, butchers, gift shop and tourist office.

The fully equipped cottage sleeps 4-6.

The accommodation consists of:

Two bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin
Fully fitted Kitchen with dining table, fridge freezer, electric cooker and micro-wave
Lounge with two large couches - one a double sofa bed, Sky TV, DVD and hi-fi
Upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet/shower
Utility room with washing room
Oil centre heating system

There is a large off-road parking area in front of the cottage.

The cottage is 10 minutes drive from the nearest ferry port at Lochboisdale and about an hour's drive from the other main ferry port at Lochmaddy in North Uist. The cottage can also be reached by plane from Glasgow to Benbecula, followed by a 45 minutes drive.
