Pumphouse Cottage offers self catering holiday accommodation in the annexe of The Manor House, Trunch, near North Walsham, Norwich, Norfolk, UK. The Manor House itself is a small family-run quality Bed and Breakfast in a lovely late Victorian house, only two miles off the North Norfolk coast - with some of the finest beaches the UK has to offer. We also let the cottage for short breaks on a bed & breakfast basis. Our nearest coastal resort is Mundesley.

The holiday cottage provides an ideal base for a holiday for birdwatchers, walker, bikers, golfers, anglers, or others exploring the natural beauty of Norfolk's heritage coastline or The Norfolk Broads.

North Norfolk offers so many things to do, just on the doorstep of our holiday cottage. The fine medieval city of Norwich or the market towns of North Walsham, Aylsham, Wroxham, Holt, Sheringham and Cromer are all close by.

The Blickling and Felbrigg Estates are easily accessible, as are East Ruston's Old Vicarage and Fairhaven Gardens. The National Trust property of Sheringham Park is also within striking distance.

Pumphouse Cottage and The Manor House are situated in the North Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Paston Way, a marked footpath linking the historic villages of the area between North Walsham and Cromer, runs along the side of the property.

The accommodation is situated in a very tranquil and picturesque location on the edge of the village of Trunch, North Norfolk, UK. Pumphouse Cottage has recently been renovated and finished to a high standard. It offers single storey self catering accommodation for two (& two) persons, and it is tastefully and practically furnished. The cottage will instantly make you feel at home, with its wooden flooring, its comfortable bed and corner sofa, its cosy wood burner, its generous bathroom and the lovely kitchen/dining room. It has its own west facing patio and garden, a sun-trap in the afternoon and evening.

With all rooms at ground level, accommodation at Pumphouse Cottage is is perfectly well suited to people with limited mobility.

The well equipped kitchen offers every facility for cooking. But if you just want to relax, there are excellent pubs not far from us, including The Crown in Trunch.
If you book Pumphouse Cottage as Bed & Breakfast accommodation, you can book the Suite including bedroom, lounge and bathroom, but not the self-catering kitchen.

The Norfolk coast between Cromer and Sea Palling offers wonderful sandy and clean beaches with high cliffs and is probably amongst the less busy in the UK. Why not enjoy a relaxing break in our comfortable holiday cottage? Bring your bikes along and explore the beautiful coast or the North Norfolk Broads along the protected quiet lanes.

Pumphouse Cottage is a single storey annexe of our house, The Manor House. It is in a very secluded position and overlooks mainly open garden and is located on the edge of a timeless Norfolk village set in a glorious rural landscape, the North Norfolk Area of Aoutstanding Beauty.

The Cottage has recently been tastefully converted with partly vaulted ceiling and is furnished to a very high standard in both modern and traditional country style.

Pumphouse Cottage is a self-catering holiday let for two (& two) people. It can also be booked as Bed & Breakfast accommodation (without the use of the kitchen).
The bedroom includes a cosy double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There are two further comfortable sleeping facilities on the sofa-bed in the lounge.
The accommodation provides a generous and well-equipped hand-built kitchen with dining area, a lounge with four-seater corner sofa-bed, armchair, wood-burner, TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player & radio.

The bathroom features a large shower cabin with electric shower, W.C, hand basin, shaver point and heated towel rail. There is gas central heating throughout the cottage.
The accommodation has high quality wooden floors throughout, except for the traditionally tiled bathroom and cooking area. It still holds its original sash windows, together with newly installed modern double-glazed windows and a French door to the patio. Guests have also access to their own washing/dryer machine.

For those who like to sit outside and relax there is a west facing patio area with a table and chairs and a further secluded garden area . There is private off-road parking next to the cottage.

Pumphouse Cottage is situated in the pretty, historic, friendly and unspoilt village of Trunch only two miles from the Sea. The village has a very well stocked village shop and post officer. The village pub The Crown Inn has won several awards over the years and is open for food from Wednesday till Sunday inclusive.

Beaches and fishing villages of the North Norfolk coast, Norwich, Holt's boutiques, galleries and restaurants and the Broads and bird reserves are all easily accessible.
